Railroad St. Collective is an artist-run retail storefront in the heart of downtown Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The store was created by artists as a direct market venue for their local products and has grown into a unique collection of giftable home goods, jewelry, children?s clothing, ceramics, art, apparel, millinery and accessories. The store offers a distinctive collection of gifts that one might find in a fine artisan market, but with the convenience of a downtown brick and mortar. As a collaboratively run retail venue in which to sell artisan made work direct to customers, the store brings an exciting retail experience to downtown Great Barrington. Unlike other retail stores, the collective of artists share the work of shopkeeping and the overhead costs equally, creating a small downtown business that is truly unique. Collective members are able to engage directly with the customers and share the story behind their craft providing a rare connection between artist and customer. Participating artists share ideas, resources and experiences creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages the success of all. Featuring work by: Aaron Meshon Illustration, Ben Krupka Ceramics, JK Custom Furniture & Design, Karema Deodato Millinery, Petit Pilou/Moho Designs, Solulu Handmade, The Highlands Foundry, Tiny Anvil and TXTILZ by Sayzie.
