Our wildlife sanctuaries - Pleasant Valley in Lenox, Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield, Lime Kiln in Sheffield, Tracy Brook in Richmond, and Old Baldy in Otis - offer 12 miles of trails for hiking, exploring, and wildlife viewing, including a universally accessible trail at Pleasant Valley.

Our wildlife sanctuaries - Pleasant Valley in Lenox, Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield, Lime Kiln in Sheffield, Tracy Brook in Richmond, and Old Baldy in Otis - offer 12 miles of trails for hiking, exploring, and wildlife viewing, including a universally accessible trail at Pleasant Valley. Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk. We provide year-round public programs for all ages including summer nature camp, and in-school K-12 programming for free or at a very reduced rate to 2,000 students across the County, including Southern Berkshire and Berkshire Hills School Districts. Mass Audubon protects and manages more than 3,000 acres of diverse habitat in the Berkshires for wildlife and climate resilience. Our Climate Champions program is a grassroots network of like-minded individuals who align with and advocate for Mass Audubon's climate policy goals.
